Michael Miller
President/CEO

Michael Miller is the founder and CEO of Alexandria Networks, Inc which services small to medium sized businesses, associations and non-profits in and around the Washington DC metro region. Alexandria Networks first opened its doors as under the name of TechnoMetrics Consulting, LLC. After providing services for several clients in and around the DC metro area it was decided that the business should concentrate on several targeted markets in and near Alexandria, Fairfax and Washington DC due to the abundance of small to medium sized businesses and the many associations and non-profits located in this region.

Michael started his career in technology in 1999 while attending Alternate Training Solutions (ATS) or better known as ComputerTraining.com, pursuing his MCP, MCSE, A+ and NET+ certifications. While attending community college at Carroll Community College in Westminster, MD and working towards his certifications in the evenings and over weekends, Michael supported a medium sized printing company's network and Macintosh computer systems during the day. This experience opened a creative door which allowed him to grasp the concepts of print and web design, ultimately launching his IT career.

During his 10 year career in technology, Michael has held several positions with various companies including network engineer for a large printing company, Director of Technology for an anti-drug association in Alexandria, VA that worked directly with the White House and The Office of National Drug Control Policy, IT Manager for a pharmacist's association in Alexandria, VA, and also as a network systems and support consultant for a large technology consulting firm based in Silver Spring, MD. These experiences are what cultivated his ideas of providing quality IT services to small and medium sized businesses to organizations without the high fees of other larger IT consulting firms. These ideas have proven to be a successful business model for Michael and his staff as his team continues to provide quality services for Alexandria Networks' growing client base.

When Michael is not working with clients and maintaining their computer networks you can find him enjoying the outdoors in his Jeep and the company of his friends and family aboard his boat on the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay.

Tom Curley
Executive Vice President

Tom Curley, Executive Vice President, a seasoned professional with over 16 years of extensive operational and technology industry experience is responsible for driving new sales and revenue growth across the DC Metro marketplace. Curley shares Alexandria Networks philosophy that it’s all about delivering the best value to our customers and works persistently to understand the customer’s challenges and business drivers. 

Curley comes to Alexandria Networks from AOL Time Warner, where he was responsible for delivery of AOL TV, delivering the AOL classic service on a new platform and managing the AOL Host service project management team. Curley was also responsible for managing the schedules and budgets for the $95 million development and integration of AOL and Time Warner’s billing systems after the merger of AOL and Time Warner.

Prior to joining AOL, as Program Manager of the Clinical Integrated Workstation at SAIC, Curley was instrumental in developing client server architecture for a new breed of workstation for use by the DOD clinical In-patient order entry systems and developing a prototype Electronic Patient record for the Air Force.

Curley began his career at IBM where he spent 8 years in many technical and management positions on the FAA modernization program including systems design and development, requirements specification, software development, research and development, subcontractor management, consulting, and system testing.

Curley holds a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY and is currently working on his MBA from George Mason.
