Network & Systems Engineer
Alexandria Networks is pleased to announce that Mark Bowker, our newest team member, has accepted a position at Alexandria Networks as Network and Systems Engineer.  Mark has spent the last eight years as System Administrator for Veolia ES Alaron, LLC, d.b.a. Alaron Nuclear Services.  During his tenure at Alaron, Mark managed and maintained Alaron’s computer network and infrastructure, and initially implemented Alaron’s migration from a failing Novell NDS network to a Windows 2003/Exchange 2003 Server platform from GroupWise.   He was solely responsible for the network development including an Orinoco Proxim WAN to the external campus buildings, and procurement and decommissioning, as well as the maintenance of company assets. Mark also implemented video conferencing with a Polycom system.

In addition Mark also developed and partially designed, and maintained Alaron’s website and textual content, and produced subsequent video content. He is well-versed in design applications such as Adobe Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Adobe Production Pro, and various other graphics and web design applications. He also is an experienced publisher in national Nuclear Service magazine print advertisements including Nuclear News and Nuclear Plant Journal.  His experience with network management includes all Windows operating systems from DOS 6.22 to Windows 7 and servers including Novell and Windows. He also initiated the development and third party design of a Microsoft Access application to replace the company’s outdated DOS software to track radiation levels (Air Dose) of employees, vendors and company visitors as well as monitoring Radioactive Materials (RAM Tags) on site utilizing a Windows SQL 2005 server database.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication (which he fondly refers to as his “B.S. in communication.” pun totally intended), and an eight month training certification as a network and support specialist.  Prior to his computer experience, his primary role was as a manger for various stores with the now-defunct Circuit City.  His tenure of 14+ plus years gave him experience in sales, sales management, operations/ store management, as well as human resources and security training including a loss prevention interviewer certification.

Natasha Stelmack
Help Desk Engineer
Natasha Stelmack, Help Desk Engineer at Alexandria Networks comes to us from the Fauquier County Public School System where she was responsible for help desk duties for various locations. Natasha brings strong customer service skills as well as detail oriented techical skills to Alexandria Networks where no problem is too large or too small to find a resolution for. Her excellent customer facing attitude and willingness to fix any issue that arises constantly brings rave reviews about her onsite support at our various client sites.

Natasha heads up Alexandria Networks' help desk and manages our client ticketing system while prioritzing tickets, maintaining the queue and updating clients on a daily basis of work performed. She has since become instrumental in our Windows 7 system deployments, building and deploying system images, productivity software support, support for Xerox and Oce networked copiers, Active Directory changes including adds and changes to user accounts as well as Blackberry Enterprise Server support. She also performs various onsite visits with our clients in need of additional support.

Natasha currently holds an under-graduate degree from George Mason University and pursuing serveral technology related certifications including Microsoft Certfied Professional and VMware's VCP certification.
