Have you ever gone to the store and realized that you left your wallet at home? DropBox takes the worry out of where your files are stored, if you have them with you or if they are being backed up on a regular basis.

DropBox is a cloud storage repository for your documents. You can try it out with up to 2 GB of storage for free. If you wish to upgrade to a larger amount of storage such as 50 GB, it's going to run you about $10 bucks a month. You can also upgrade to larger data stores if you want but it comes with a price tag. For the average user 2GB is perfect for your work files that you're working on during the month or even year if you're a smaller company.

You can install the agent software one each of your PCs. The agent then places a DropBox folder similar to your My Documents folder on your system. Any file or folder that you place in the DropBox folder is synchronized to the cloud online. Then if you go to another computer and view your DropBox folder, you see the same files. You can even access your DropBox folder from online and pull files down directly from DropBox.com.

You can use DropBox for collaboration amongst team members too. Simply have each of your team members create an account and then login to your account and select the Share Folder option.
